A pair of Ringed Plover on the beach near Látrabjarg, in the West Fjords guarding their eggs. As soon as I realized they were staying near me to protect their nest (why else would they not have moved further along the beach), I looked for their eggs, took a quick photo and moved on. It was a rare treat to see!
